Call for Abstract Submissions: 6th Annual Congress of the Nepalese Association for Clinical Chemistry (NACC) 2026

NACC is pleased to invite all congress delegates to submit abstracts of their scientific research for consideration at the 6th Annual NACC Congress 2026. This prestigious event will provide an excellent platform for professionals in clinical chemistry, clinical molecular biology, and laboratory medicine to present their work and contribute to the advancement of the field.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Eligibility: There is no limit to the number of abstracts a participant may submit, provided the presenting author registers for the congress and is a registered laboratory health professional.

Primary Presentation Format: Abstracts will be primarily presented as posters.

Oral Presentation Consideration: A selected number of abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation during congress symposia. The scientific committee of NACC 2026 holds the sole responsibility for acceptance or rejection of the abstract and will communicate with the corresponding (first) author regarding any changes to be made to the abstract, including the category of the abstract.

Publication: All accepted abstracts will be published in a supplementary issue of the Annals of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (ACCLM), the official journal of the NACC. This provides a significant opportunity for broad dissemination of your research within the clinical chemistry community.

Abstract Submission Requirements

Content: Abstracts should be clear, concise, and written in proper English. They must contain significant and original results, as abstracts with statements like “results will be discussed” will not be accepted.

Word Limit: Abstracts must be no longer than 250 words and must follow the structure as mentioned below. Abstracts for case reports should be no longer than 150 words and can be submitted in an unstructured format.

Formatting: No figures, tables, or references are permitted in the abstract. Please use abbreviations sparingly and define them upon first mention.

Publication: Abstracts should not have been previously published in any academic journals or been subject to prior peer review. Submitted abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee.

Abstract Submission Deadline

All abstracts must be submitted by May 20, 2026. A confirmation email will be sent immediately after submission.

Notification of Acceptance

Authors will be notified regarding the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts by May 25, 2026. The scientific committee of NACC 2026 holds the sole responsibility for acceptance or rejection of the abstract.

Registration Requirement

The presenting author for each abstract must be registered for the congress. Please ensure that the presenting author is the individual who will register and attend the congress, as the presenting author cannot be changed after submission.
